Some artists may know themselves and their career paths with enough clarity to follow their dreams with confidence and ambition. Some artists struggle to parse out their desires even while feeling something is missing. Wherever you identify on this spectrum, the Artist Support Network curriculum will help to distill and clarify your vision, and provide critical and concrete information you can apply to your process. Once you embark on this journey, you will shore up your sense of knowing, quiet the limiting beliefs that hold you back, and gain confidence in going for what you want.

Part of this process will be the nuts and bolts of navigating our vast and complex arts ecosystem, and part of it will be more visionary and deeply personal. We cannot separate the artist from the human, and there are very real internal barriers and external tropes we each grapple with that obstruct our paths to achieving what we desire.

I have 25 years experience as an arts professional, and my wish is to impart these strengths to you and your process as a professional artist. I believe thriving artists are imperative to a healthy society and a healthy world, and we need each other to function and to grow.

Since every artist and path is different - your practice, career trajectory, training,  experiences, goals and ambitions - each action plan is unique.

Together, we walk through the steps I’ve laid out that first ground you in your experience of yourself as a professional artist, and fill in the missing areas with pragmatic, substantiative information to help you reach and celebrate your goals.
